When: December 6 & 7, 2025In conjunction with the Holiday Craft Festival
Drop Off: Saturday, December 6, 8am-10amEntry form must be completed upon drop off!
Where: Ted Blum 4-H Center310 Milltown Rd. Bridgewater, NJ
Judging: Judging will take place December 6 after closing. Viewer’s Choice will be tallied and posted along with all categories December 7.
No Entry Fee: All participants please bring a canned vegetable to be donated to the community holiday dinner.

Somerset County 4-H Association: Annual Wreath Sale
Available Now for Order
4-H Wreath Sale
4-H Wreaths are fresh, handcrafted wreaths sourced from Maine. Each wreath is a 12-inch ring of double-faced balsam that makes the wreath 22-24 inches across the middle.
Plain wreaths are $20. Decorated wreaths are $25 and come with 3 groups of 3 pinecones and a red ribbon.
Payment can be made via cash or check made payable to "Somerset County 4-H Association" and is due upon delivery.
All wreaths will be delivered to you on Saturday, November 29th as long as our delivery is on time. If there is a delay, we will contact you.

New Jersey 4-H Global Food Security Coalition Information Session
New Jersey 4‑H is recruiting a team of high school students to participate in the World Food Prize Research Project. Youth members will work with a team to develop individual research projects addressing global food security issues. Participants will meet once a week with mentors and peers to prepare their research project.

The theme is “The 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier: Rise and Shine for Duty, Honor, and Patriotism.” Contest categories are 1) Poster; 2) Stamp Design; 3) Photo Essay; 4) Banner; 5) Poem; 6) Short Story; 7) Community Service, individual or group entry, does not need to reflect theme.

Daughters of the American Revolution: Patriots of the American Revoluation Essay Contest
This new contest is open to students in grades 9 to 12. Select a figure from the era of the American Revolution (1773-1783) and discuss how he or she influenced events. Figures may be well-known or an everyday man, woman or child who supported the American Revolution in ways large or small.

Daughters of the American Revolution: American History Essay Contest
Open to students in grades 5 to 8. The theme is the 100th Anniversary of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Students are asked to imagine that they attended the November 11, 1921, dedication of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in Washington, D.C., and describe what it meant to them and their family.
