club leaders
Being a club leader is a great way to get involved with Somerset County 4-H. There are three tiers of leadership which you can volunteer for:
Leader: An adult (21+) that organizes, administrates, and executes a Somerset County 4-H club. They can either create their own club or join a pre-existing club as either a leader or an assistant leader.
Assistant Leader: An adult (21+) that has the same responsibilities as a leader, although in an assistant role. They can either create their own club, provided they also have a leader, or they can join a pre-existing club.
Junior Leader: A young adult (18-20) that helps with clubs without the full responsibilities of an adult leader. These positions are for those who have aged out of 4-H membership, but are still interested in supporting their club. They can create their own club, provided they have two adult leaders as well, or join a pre-existing club.

general events
Throughout the year, Somerset County 4-H holds countless events to create opportunities for our youth members to grow their leadership skills and to improve their connections within the local Somerset County community. We are always looking for volunteers for our events, each with various positions and responsibilities.

4-H Fair
The 4-H Fair is an annual event that brings in countless members from the local community. With multiple tents, sponsors, food stations, entertainment stages, and more, we are always looking for helpful volunteers to lend us a hand in many different ways.
