volunteering - For Non-Members
Volunteering for the 4-H Fair is a great way to get involved in your community, as well as helps ensure the success of the 4-H Fair for all Somerset County 4-H youth members! We are happy to accept anyone who is willing to lend a hand, with various jobs for all who are interested. Take a look below for positions that we need help with. Corporations
All corporations are welcome to send individuals or teams to help us with the food tent. This includes setting up the food tent, manning food station, and more.

Adults
All adults are needed to help spin cotton candy, make milk shakes, do crafts with kids, help maintain the food tent tables, and more. All training is provided and shifts may vary. Adults may also volunteer to help the 4-H Association Fair Planning Committee that meets throughout the year which focuses on fundraising, food tent, commercial, entertainment, or logistics.
teens
All teen volunteers looking to complete community service hours are encouraged to attend a meeting at the Ted Blum 4-H Center. The meeting will take place on August 4th, 2023 at 10am and will be administered by the Summer Staff.
