The Ted Blum 4-H Center

Our Mission

The mission of the Somerset County 4-H Association is to support the 4-H Youth Development Program of Somerset County. The Association provides an annual educational Fair to showcase work 4-H members have completed; a building where many 4-H events are conducted; and the volunteer and monetary support to 4-H youth, clubs, programs and events. You can help support your local 4-H youth programs by donating to the 4-H Association, click to find out how.

Membership

The 4-H Association Membership Committee nominates prospective members and the Association votes unanimously to invite them to join. The Association meets regularly on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7PM at the Ted Blum 4-H Center to discuss operating and maintaining the center, organizing the 4-H Fair, and supporting the Rutgers Cooperative Extension of Somerset County & the 4-H Program. Members should plan to attend all meetings and ask questions, voice opinions and get to know the other members; working toward compromise for the good of the organization.
