somerset county 4-h is built on the principles of community, leadership, and teamwork to help guide our youth towards independent success. through clubs, camps, events, and volunteer opportunities, 4-H youth between k-13 (one year out of high school) are provided opportunities to grow into confident, resilient, and proud leaders.
Educational Clubs
Somerset County 4-H has some of the most educational and dedicated clubs in the area. Ranging from the sciences to the arts, our clubs are created for all to join with a focus on providing youth the tools they need to lay a path of independent achievement. We ensure an environment prioritizing inclusivity, education, and leadership that prepares youth for whatever their future may bring.

Life-Changing Opportunities
Being a member of Somerset County 4-H provides a wealth of useful resources and information. Whether it’s 4-H scholarships, National 4-H leadership opportunities, or awards and competitions, joining is a great way to open up a world of opportunities.

Member Events
With countless events every year that are open to the public, we also offer member only events that help celebrate our members accomplishments. Just some of our events that focus on leadership, community, and friendship include: PREP Family New Year Party, North Jersey Teen Conference, Teen Winter Camp, and so much more.
How do I become a member?
Pick Your Clubs
To become a member, you’ll need to join a club! Take a look at the clubs that we offer at Somerset County 4-H. Once you’ve found some clubs you’d be interested in joining, fill out our club interest form and then wait to hear back from us so we can tell you when the next club meeting is that you can attend. Clubs run year-round, from after the 4-H Fair ends in August, to the next Fair. Only after you’ve attended a club meeting, will you be able to take the next steps to join that club.
Register for the Clubs
In order to join the club, you will need to register as a member. The registration form can be found here, remember that you’ll need a separate form for each club that you intend to join, and it will need to be signed by the club leader, as well as a parent or guardian. Once you have a completed registration form, you’ll need to return it to the Somerset County 4-H office.
Register for ZSuite
The last step, after we have received your registration with all necessary signatures, is to register on ZSuite. All instructions to register can be found on the ZSuite site. Just remember that you need to re-register every year! If you have questions about this process, feel free to reach out to the Somerset County 4-H office.
