4-H members in 8th grade + up are invited to attend this event. It is half community service, half teambuilding/hanging out!
We will meet at the Fisherman’s Cove Activity Center at 10 am on Friday August 26, 2022. Beach badges are $10 each.

Drawing in a diverse and ever growing attendance, the fair has created a strong foundation for 4-H youth to showcase their leadership, community, teamwork, and most importantly, their 4-H spirit.

Franklin Township Pop Up Food Pantry
Attention all 4-H Clubs - we need your help!
We are partnering with the Franklin Township Youth Center to collect donations for the Franklin Township Pop Up Food Pantry. The collection box in in the 4-H Center Lobby and will be there for a while. We are looking for clubs to sign up for a month and be responsible for making sure there are donations that month. Of course, everyone can donate at any time! But we want to make sure it will never be empty.

Reel Into Fishing
Rutgers Cooperative Extension (RCE) of Ocean County, along with the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), present, Reel Into Fishing!, a free program for youth in grades 5-10, from August 16-18, 2022. Registration is open through August 5th.

Module 2 enables participants to work with others to achieve a leadership goal. The module focuses on how leadership can have a positive impact on society by tackling both local and global issues. Module 2 also focuses on research skills, conflict resolution, critical thinking and exploring leadership styles.

Ignite Your Leadership Potential: August Courses
Igniting Your Leadership Potential Certificate in Leadership Development is a series of online leadership courses offered by the NJ 4‑H Youth Development Program and taught by 4‑H faculty. Youth in grades 8–13 can register for a variety of courses that will provide opportunities to learn about leadership, gain knowledge, sharpen their skills, and prepare to lead.
