We are extremely proud of all the Somerset County 4-H’ers who participated in the New Jersey State Presentations this year and represented Somerset County.

“Public speaking is one of many life skills that 4-H members learn, develop and enhance during their involvement in 4-H club, county, state and national positive youth development experiences. 4-H Alumni cite public speaking as the most valuable skill gained while in 4-H.” says Jeannette Rea Keywood, State 4-H Agent, Department of 4-H Youth Development.

This is an incredible opportunity for members to showcase their outstanding public speaking skills while demonstrating their knowledge in a particular topic of their choosing.
