Annual 4-H Cupcake Wars Brings Members Together from Across the State
Posted by Jennifer Korneski, 4-H Program Coordinator
Somerset County 4-H hosted the 6th annual Cupcake Wars on December 3, 2022 at the Ted Blum 4-H Center in Bridgewater, NJ.
Cupcake Wars is a baking competition focused on teamwork and creativity. Teams of two or three 4-H members of any club, collaborate to design and bake a cupcake that is judged based on appearance, flavor, and presentation of recipe.
Thirty-six youth participated from five counties including Burlington, Hunterdon, Morris, Somerset, and Warren. This year due to increased registration, teams were divided into Junior and Senior divisions and included a Prep/Cloverbud baking workshop.
Congratulations to all participants on a great job!
