4-H Woof Dog Club Members Volunteer at AKC's Meet The Breeds at Javitts Center

On Saturday January 25, 2025 Somerset 4-H Woof Dog Club members Lilly van Sleewen and Annalise Gaudet traveled to NYC to volunteer at the American Kennel Club's Meet The Breeds at the Jacob Javitts Center.  

Lilly and Annalise are also AKC Juniors showing cocker spaniels in Junior Showmanship classes at AKC dog shows. 

On Saturday, they greeted the public at the Cocker Spaniel booth, explaining what it's like to work with a cocker as well as care and conditioning.

Lilly and Annalise also visited the Westchester County NY 4-H Dog Club booth and shared experiences.  The Westchester County, NY 4-H Dog Club visited Somerset County 4-H Woof Dog shows last year.
