2022 New Year - Better You 4-H "Heart" Challenge Recognizes Furry Friends Club Member

Congrats to Erin Bate of Furry Friends for her Certificate of Service Completion as part of the February 2022 New Year - Better You NJ 4-H Heart Project Challenge.

The February Challenge focused on the “Heart” in 4-H and participants were challenged to focus on belonging, inclusion and kindness by completing as many "random acts of kindness" by the end of February as they could.

Erin is happy to volunteer for non-profit and community groups. In February, she assisted with a luncheon set-up, as well as prepared coffee for the attendees, collected tabs off soda and soup can lids to donate to the Ronald McDonald House and donates clothes to others in need on a regular basis to organizations such as the local “Buy Nothing” group.

On February 12th, she volunteered her time and led the Rabbit and Cavy Showmanship Clinic at our Ted Blum 4-H Center.

We are proud to acknowledge Erin as she exemplifies what 4-H is about - leadership, community service and improving her world through positive actions. Great job Erin!
