Where: Ted Blum 4-H Center
When: The 1st and 3rd Monday of the month, 7-8:30 pm
Grades: 4-13
Letter to Prospective Members & Parents: September 21, 2026
We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month from 7-8:30pm in the 4-H Center, located at 310 Milltown Rd., Bridgewater. A portion of the club meetings will be dedicated to our business meetings, where the club officers will review past meetings, and guide the club as we discuss upcoming events. The remainder will be for project selection, assembly, and completion.
On the surface, club members work towards the goal of learning sewing skills, machine safety, and completing their projects. Pins & Needles members will have the opportunity to participate in two Fashion Revues: one with the sewing club and one during the Somerset County 4-H Fair.
Parents and Guardians, between us, our actual goal is to make our youth members the best version of themselves by building confidence, experiencing leadership roles, and expanding social connections. A well made sewing project, and maybe some blue ribbons would be a happy bonus!
We are currently in our post-fair break and will start up again with our first meeting in October.
