REQUIREMENTS
Must be a Somerset County 4-H Member
Calling 4-H members! For 2021 we will be having Virtual Public Presentations. The Somerset County 4-H members are invited to register for Public Presentations through 4-H Online. 4-H members can choose between submitting a video of their public presentation (same as last year) or participating in a Zoom Live event.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY
The first option will require recording the participant and uploading it to a YouTube account. When uploaded, the link must be shared to be judged. Detailed instructions on where to share the link will be sent after registration is confirmed. More information about the pre-recorded video process and resources to help develop and record a presentation are available in Tips for Recording Your Presentation. The deadline to have a video submitted for review will be March 17th.
Our Zoom Live event will take place March 22nd through 25th and participants will have the option at registration to choose a timeslot for the day of their preference. During the Zoom event presenters will be assigned to a Zoom Room to give their Presentation. Audience and judges will be able to ask questions after the presentation. Judges will deliberate in a Breakout room and then will be back to the main room to share their general comments. A Zoom link will be sent when registration is confirmed.

Monday March 22, 3:30 – 5:30 PM / 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Tuesday March 23, 3:30 – 5:30 PM / 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Wednesday March 24, 3:30 – 5:30 PM / 6:30 – 8:30 PM
Thursday March 25, 3:30- 5:30 PM / 6:30 – 8:30 PM
You must be a registered 4-H Member in the 4-H Online system to participate. The deadline to register is March 15th.
PARTICIPANTS REGISTRATION DUE
March 15th, 2021 for Zoom Live.
March 17th, 2021 for video submission.
HOW TO REGISTER
Log into your 4-HOnline account.
Click the “Events" tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
Click on the "Register" button.
Select the member that you would like to register and then select which session (date and time).
Then fill out all the necessary information on the following pages.
If currently you do not have a title for your presentation please add ‘TBD’ in that section.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
We will also be accepting adults looking to volunteer their time as judges for this event. If you are interested in judging pre-recorded presentations or in the Zoom Live event, please complete the registration below. Judges registration deadline is March 12th.
A Zoom training will be offered for all judges on March 16th and a make-up session on March 18th. Important information and guidelines will be discussed. A Zoom link will be sent once registration is confirmed.
