Written by Calvin Embleton (Marketing and Communications)

Somerset County 4-H is proud to announce that the SACH club (Student Ambassadors for Community Health), in partnership with Middle Earth, will be recognized with the Beyond Youth Leadership Award from the National Association of 4-H Youth Development Professionals (NAE4-HYDP) at their National meeting this fall.

The Beyond Youth Leadership Award recognizes youth development programs that focus on Youth Adult Partnerships with a positive outcome within their communities.

This is an incredible achievement for the Somerset County youth involved in this program. It also serves as tangible evidence that the work they are doing is important on not just a local level, but a national level as well.

Again, we congratulate all past and present members of SACH, as well as the adult leaders who are pushing forward and continuing their pursuit of positive community change with a focusing on building confidence and leadership in today's youth.
